HedgeByte currently has no user accounts, newsletters, advertising trackers, or optional analytics. Information may still be processed by website hosting, checkout, and support services.

This Privacy Policy applies to the HedgeByte website, product pages, downloads, checkout links, and support services.
HedgeByte is an independently operated software service based in Romania. Privacy-related questions can be sent to support@hedge-byte.com.

Checkout and payments
Purchases are processed by the payment provider identified during checkout. Free trials are created by HedgeByte after email and device verification and do not require payment details.
During checkout, the payment provider may process your name, email address, billing information, payment information, selected product, purchased access period, payment status, and other information required to complete or protect the transaction.
HedgeByte does not directly receive or store your complete payment-card details. We may receive limited order, payment, and customer information needed to confirm access, manage licences, prevent fraud, or provide support.
The payment provider handles information according to its own privacy policy, checkout terms, and legal obligations.

Vercel
Used for website hosting, deployment, security, logs, and media delivery.
Payment provider
Used for checkout, one-time payments, fraud prevention, chargeback management, and payment-related support.
Discord
Used when you voluntarily join or contact the HedgeByte support community.
These providers process information according to their own privacy policies and service terms. The specific payment provider used for a purchase will be identified during checkout.

Cookies and analytics
HedgeByte currently does not intentionally use advertising cookies, behavioural tracking, or optional analytics.
Hosting and checkout providers may use essential cookies needed for security, fraud prevention, sessions, or checkout. HedgeByte also stores a small language-preference cookie after you manually select English or Romanian.

Data retention
Information is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary. Support messages may be retained while resolving a request. Order information may be retained for support, fraud prevention, accounting, or legal obligations.
Website and security logs are retained according to the hosting provider's configuration and policies.

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of personal information held about you.
You may also object to certain processing or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
