Acceptance
By downloading, purchasing, activating, or using a HedgeByte product, you agree to these Terms. Do not use the software if you do not agree with them.
The service
HedgeByte provides desktop automation software that performs fishing or mining actions in an online game. The software is not designed to modify payment systems, steal credentials, distribute malware, or bypass purchases.
HedgeByte is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any game publisher, game server, or platform unless expressly stated.
Eligibility and licence
You must be at least 18 years old, or the legal age required to enter a contract in your country. A purchase grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for the access period shown at checkout.
Licence keys, downloads, and access credentials must not be shared, resold, sublicensed, or made publicly available. Product-specific device or activation limits shown at checkout or in the software also apply.
Game and server rules
Automation may violate the rules of certain games or private servers. You are responsible for checking and following the rules that apply to you.
Use may result in warnings, restrictions, suspension, a permanent ban, or loss of game accounts, characters, items, or progress. HedgeByte does not promise that use is undetectable, permitted, or free from enforcement action.
Trials and one-time payment
Eligible products may include a one-day free trial that begins after email verification and activation inside the software. No payment method is required for the trial. A trial is limited to the device and product restrictions shown in the software.
Paid access is purchased for the fixed period displayed at checkout. Payments are one-time and do not renew automatically. Transactions are processed by the payment provider identified at checkout.
The payment provider's checkout terms and privacy notice also apply to the transaction. Depending on the checkout method used, the provider may act as the merchant of record or as a payment processor.
Access periods and payment issues
Because paid access does not renew automatically, there is no recurring subscription to cancel. Access ends at the displayed expiry unless you choose to purchase another fixed period.
Contact support promptly if you experience a duplicate charge, failed delivery, or another payment problem. A refund, charge reversal, legal requirement, or security action may end access earlier than the displayed expiry.
Refunds and withdrawal rights
Because access to digital software is normally supplied quickly, purchases are generally not refundable after access has been delivered or a licence has been activated. Refund requests may still be reviewed for duplicate charges, failed delivery, serious defects that cannot be resolved, or other appropriate circumstances.
Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory consumer rights. Where the law provides a withdrawal period, that right may end after digital supply begins only when the legally required express consent and acknowledgement have been obtained.
The payment provider used for the purchase may issue or require a refund, reverse a payment, or take other action where required by applicable law, its policies, fraud controls, payment-network rules, or chargeback management.
Compatibility and availability
Compatibility depends on the game client, server, operating system, screen configuration, updates, and other technical conditions. A game or server update may temporarily or permanently affect functionality.
We may update, repair, replace, restrict, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for security, compatibility, maintenance, legal compliance, or product development. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every server.
Prohibited use
You must not use the software to:
- compromise accounts, devices, networks, payment systems, or personal data;
- steal credentials, distribute malware, commit fraud, or gain unauthorised access;
- bypass purchases, licensing controls, or security measures;
- reverse engineer, modify, or redistribute the software, except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- resell, rent, sublicense, share, or commercially exploit a personal licence; or
- use the service for any unlawful purpose.
Ownership
HedgeByte and its software, design, code, branding, documentation, and original media remain the property of their respective owner. Purchasing access does not transfer ownership of the software or any intellectual-property rights.
Third-party game names, artwork, trademarks, and other assets belong to their respective owners.
Suspension and termination
Access may be suspended or terminated where there is a material breach of these Terms, licence sharing, payment fraud, abuse of the service, a security threat, or a legal requirement.
Where reasonably possible, we will explain the reason and allow a genuine mistake to be corrected. A suspension or termination does not remove rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Disclaimers and liability
The software is provided on an "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, HedgeByte does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, continued compatibility, particular in-game results, or protection from game or server enforcement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HedgeByte is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost game progress, loss of virtual items, account sanctions, or loss caused by unsupported configurations or third-party changes.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability or consumer remedy that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated for legal, security, billing, or product changes. The effective date at the top will be revised. Material changes affecting an active paid access period will be communicated reasonably before they take effect where required.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by Romanian law. If you are a consumer, this choice does not remove mandatory protections or court rights granted by the law of your country of residence.
Please contact support first so that a complaint can be reviewed. Any unresolved dispute will be handled by the courts or consumer-dispute body that has jurisdiction under applicable law.
